Mark is the first Groundwork Health, Wellbeing and Community Ambassador for Groundwork the environmental community charity. Speaking about his decision to become an Ambassador for Groundwork, Mark said:
I am both delighted and truly honoured to be Groundwork’s first Ambassador. Parks, recreation grounds, open spaces and greener landscapes are the breathing green lung of the UK. They have a direct positive effect on health, wellbeing and community life and spirit. I am really excited to be championing and promoting these qualities. I have personally experienced the incredible and life-changing effects that green spaces have on a person’s body and mind. Groundwork really is the community charity. They have a green heart and I look forward to working with them to safe-guard our essential, existing and yet to be created greener landscapes
